The Arc of Northwest Wayne County
At the 2023 Sip and Support event hosted by The Arc of Northwest Wayne County, Centroid was proud to be a Gold Sponsor. This event was dedicated to furthering The Arc’s mission of building inclusive communities for people with disabilities.
Being one of the 700 chapters across the country, The Arc of Northwest Wayne County has played a pivotal role in advocating for and serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). For almost sixty years, The Arc has stood as the largest organization in the country committed to serving those with various diagnoses, including Down syndrome, autism, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders, and cerebral palsy.

Centroid was honored to serve as the Strength in Numbers sponsor for the Sparrow Freedom Project’s 5K Freedom Walk and Human Trafficking Resource Fair in 2023, held at Belle Isle in Detroit, MI. This event brought awareness to the community by giving attendees the opportunity to learn how to recognize signs of trafficking and discover actionable steps to make a difference.
Sparrow Freedom Project’s mission is to build a survivor led community supporting and empowering exploited and trafficked individuals on their journey to achieving independence through services and prevention.
